The Administrators/Owners of Rabbit Dogs.net offer membership in, and the use of, this website and forum to anyone who is willing to register, with no obligation and no charges or fees.
Considering the real-time nature of this forum it is impossible for us to review all the threads/posts or confirm the validity of information posted. We try to actively monitor the contents of posted messages but cannot be responsible for any message that is posted.
We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.
The messages posted on the forum express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of any entity associated with the Rabbit Dogs.net/Blackcreek Beagle Forum.
RabbitDogs.net reserves the right to edit or delete a post or thread for any reason we see fit without justification or explanation. We try to be fair and objective however editing is a subjective process which may sometimes seem inconsistent.
Failure to edit or delete a post does not signify endorsement by Rabbit Dogs.net, its Staff, or its Owners.
Though it isn’t common practice for us, we reserve the right to deny access to any member for any reason and with no explanation.
Registration
Registration is required to view all the forums and use the features, but its simple, fast, and best of all, free.
To register you will need a username (you may use either your real name or a nickname), specify your age, a location, and have a valid email address.
The email address must be valid because you will be sent a confirmation email that must be activated before you can view or post in the forum! This information is for our own use and we will not sell, trade, or give away your email address to any outside source.
Usernames that are in poor taste will be removed.
Posting of copyrighted material is prohibited
No posting of copyrighted material-The use or posting of copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or you have prior consent is not allowed. You cannot legally post entire magazine or news articles in the forum without permission from the copyright holder. Even if you attribute the article correctly it’s still copyright infringement.
Copyright law does not care if you make any money off of the work or not, what matters is if you hurt the potential income of the copyright holder.
Under Fair Use provisions you can legally post a small abstract of an article - or perhaps the opening paragraph. If you want to post an article you should do this and include a link, or just post the link. The exception to this rule is press releases; press releases are meant for distribution and can be copied and distributed as much as you want.
If you are not sure if you can copy something then always err on the side of caution and simply post a link to the material.
Information, including pictures, copyrighted or owned by any individual or entity other than the member should not be posted on the discussion forums without the consent of the owner. If such an event occurs, the individual posting the information shall be held solely responsible.
Posting Rules
The growing popularity of the forum has necessitated a list of rules that all Members must adhere to:
No profanity or vulgar language-This forum is not intended for children but since we are on the World Wide Web children do occasionally visit the site and the content of all posts should be in a manner that reflects this. We will not tolerate profanity or vulgar language and any post that contains profanity is subject to deletion or edit by an Administrator or Moderator without notice.
Continued use of such language will result in removal from the site for a length of time decided by the Administrators.
No sexual references, sexual innuendos, sexually explicit language or photographs, or illegal material-The posting or displaying of sexually explicit photos, jokes with a sexual content, adult related content, pornography, or any illegal material or links to it can, and mostly will, result in your removal from the forum permanently on the first offense.
We have a zero tolerance policy on posts such as these.
No personal attacks-While debate and discussion are what this forum is designed for, we insist that you remain civil in your responses and not resort to personal attacks on an individual and this includes name calling. Try to understand that people from different areas and backgrounds often have different views on certain topics and subjects. This doesn't necessarily make their opinions wrong; it just makes their opinion different than yours.
No advertising or spam-Rabbit Dogs.net is a privately owned and funded website and forum and any revenue that we might generate to pay for our server costs, software upgrades, etc. will be generated by advertising. Since advertising is/will be our only source of revenue, you are not allowed to advertise your products or services in the forum without first contacting an Administrator. This also applies to the Trading Post forum and Private Messages.
Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal of the post and may result in termination of your account.
No slanderous or libelous posts-Posting slanderous, libelous, incorrect, misleading, or hazardous information will result in removal from the forum permanently.
No multiple accounts- The creation of multiple accounts by a single user is not allowed. We have the ability to track IP information and the owners and operators of RabbitDogs.net reserve the right to ban any member who violates this rule without discussion.
Anyone openly arguing on the forum about the suspension of another persons account is subject to having their own account suspended.
Trading Post Rules/Guidelines
The Trading Post forum is provided free to our Members so that they may sell or trade their own personal items.
This section is not intended for businesses to sell products and misuse of this forum to sell items commercially may result in termination of your membership.
Neither Rabbit Dogs.net, its owners, nor any equity associated with Rabbit Dogs.net vouch for or have any connection with any item or product bought, sold, or traded through the use of this website.
In the unfortunate event that a “deal goes bad” neither Rabbit Dogs.net, its owners, nor any equity associated with it may be held responsible.
Private Messaging
Private Messages, or PM’s, are a feature of the forum that allows members to contact one another without knowing each others email addresses. This is not the same as your email account and each member is allowed a maximum 50 messages . This includes saved messages as well as incoming messages. If you have a message that you need to save, please copy it to some type of word processor document because old PM’s will occasionally be pruned to clean up the database and create more room on our server. We are not responsible for any information that is lost in this process.
SPAM
We define Spam as an attempt to advertise or promote a business or product by someone who owns or works for the business in some capacity.
Example:
If a person who owns John Doe Outfitters makes a post promoting his guide service, etc. it is considered Spam.
But if a Member makes a post saying that he has hunted with John Doe Outfitters and liked/disliked the operation, etc. that post is acceptable.
The purpose of Rabbit Dogs.net is to offer beaglers a place to gather and talk about beagling, field trialing, dogs, etc., not to give businesses an avenue for free advertising.
Members Acceptance
Members are required to follow all rules and guidelines set forth in this document.
Failure to do so can/will result in that Members access to the site to be denied.
By posting content to the forum you are giving Rabbit Dogs.net unlimited, unrestricted, royalty free use of your post(s), and Rabbit Dogs.net nor any equitey associated with it is in any way obligated to reimburse any member for use of any copyrighted material posted on the forum.
Rabbit Dogs.net retains the right to use the content posted on our site for any purpose it sees fit as long as credit is given to its copyright owner, regardless of the owners current membership status.
The rules and guidelines in place for this site are not open for debate. This a privately owned forum and we have made these rules to ensure enjoyment by all users and to make sure these forums are a positive experience for everyone. There is no such thing as a "right" to post on an Internet message board. Anyone openly debating these rules or otherwise causing problems or conflicts on the forum will have their posting privileges suspended for an amount of time to be determined by the Administrators of the site.
Anyone openly arguing on the forum about the suspension of another persons account is subject to having their own account suspended.
